Project Controls Engineer

Planning Engineer (Engineering/Technical) for a contract position on Sizewell B Nuclear Power station in Suffolk.

The work is estimated to last for approximately 24 months and consists of a Programme of 8-10 schemes, covering design and implementation of plant modifications to provide ~beyond design basis? plant resilience.

Including flood protection, enhancement to fire fighting systems and equipment, cooling water and air system modifications, seismic hardening work, reactor containment building venting and hydrogen recombiners plus reinforcement to electrical systems.

Experience:

Experienced working with , knowledge of planning and project management process requirements, team worker and strong communication skills.
Knowledge of, and experience in delivery in line with a Gated Project Management process
Experience in the full range of project control requirements, including earned value management, reporting, change control and risk / contingency management
Experience in delivering work on an operating nuclear site, interfacing with routine maintenance and operating arrangements would be an advantage

The role will be site based Sizewell B power station.
PWR Plant knowledge would be an advantage.

Valid current security clearance would be a huge advantage!
