Project Controls Engineer

Immediate need for an Outage Scheduler/Project Controls with maintenance, engineering, planning or scheduling experience with 5+ years of primary focus experience in fossil generation environment. Position will be located Southern Indiana and is a long term contract assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for the development of integrated CPM MasterSchedules.
- Responsible for insuring the timely development and maintenance status reports.
- Must be able to work closely with plant, outage and construction management team in development and maintenance of master schedules.
- Must have the ability to integrate other departments and contractor schedule into a master schedule and continuously monitor progress with milestones and project interface reliability.
- Will develop, monitor and maintain multiple schedules usingPrimavera Enterprise version 6.0 or better.
- Will support integration and schedule interface with cost management processes.

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires an Associate Degree in a power generation technically related field or 6+ years of maintenance, engineering, planning or scheduling experience with 3+ years of primary focus experience in fossil generation environment
- Requires 5 Years of fossil plant experience preferred with 2 years minimal.
- Requires Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling and demonstrated experience using Primavera software solutions(P3e), Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Requires knowledge and experience in Project Controls including performance and cost management, as well knowledge of Earned ValueManagement (EVM).
- Requires knowledge of power plant systems andinterrelationships as well as equipment maintenance practices.
- Must have knowledge of fossil outage management and project controls.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills must possess strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
