Project Controls

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls engineer to join on a very long term project. You will be based at Heathrow on a 12 month rolling contract (project until 2015).

Provide an integrated project control solution to report project performance using earned value reporting and manage change using the NEC form of Contract.

Responsibilities

Reporting
* Provide support and process to allow the project to capture scope, schedule, cost, performance, assurance and health and safety information, and integrate to provide a monthly project report, published to client deadlines.

* Ensure schedule, cost, risk, change and report data integrity is maintained through the life of the project

* Establish, update and maintain the project control business systems (P6) ensuring the integrity of all underpinning schedule, cost, change and risk inputs.

* Assist in the preparation of on-going project reviews and provide advice on corrective actions.

* Ensure that budgets are controlled within authorised funding limits and in accordance with financial procedures

* Monitor schedule and cost trends, then provide analysis and forecasting to the project team.

* Support the cost management and the risk management process

* Lead earned value management reporting, ensuring project teams and contractors use EV data to manage projects.

* Contribute to improving the quality and performance of controls processes and systems.

* Manage change using the NEC form of contract.

* To ensure cost and schedule integration.
