Project Controllers work at the heart of our Programme Management activity and report into the Avionic Operations Team, as 'mini' project managers but are an integral member of our Integrated Project Development Teams (IPDT).

The role offers exciting opportunities at the centre of our programmes and is focussed on the following areas:-
* Educate the team on best practice Project Management policies, standards and processes across all phases of the project: initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing projects.
* Assist in the development of Project Management Plans during the initial stages of a project.
* Work with the IPDT to develop an integrated project schedule, to meet the programme schedule and budget, and ensure successful delivery of the project throughout its life cycle.
* Work with the functional teams to establish the projects Works Breakdown Structure (WBS) and assist with defining Control Accounts and Work Packages associated with the WBS.
* Work with the functional teams to identify resource supply and demand requirements for each of the activities within the integrated project schedule and WBS.
* Work with IPDT to monitor programme performance against approved programme baseline. Ensure appropriate resources have been identified to successfully deliver the programme.
* Establish and maintain the Project Risk & Opportunity register to drive the risk mitigation actions through to continued risk reduction
* To manage actual project costs and monitor against approved project baseline costs. Produce cost analysis and preparation of cost performance reports (CPR) and assist with understanding the variance to the plan.
* Identify Project Scope Changes and the impact the scope will have on schedule, costs and resources.
* Manage change control associated with project scope changes.
* Guide, advise and mentor in the analysis and interpretation of data, information and metrics, to include critical path analysis, earned value management, cost run rates and baseline amend metrics.
* Generate management information and reports for the project.
* Conduct Analysis on project critical activities and develop strategies to mitigate delays to the project.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* An appropriate business degree, HND or Equivalent.
* Experience in project control, planning and Microsoft Project (or equivalent)
* Experience in Earned Value Management and Cost Analysis.
