Harvey Nash is a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Insurance company focussing on Bochum we are looking for a Project controller on a freelance basis (f/m)

Job:

We are looking for Financial Support to support the programme manager/ project manager within the project

Task:
- Support the global recovery process (have the complete overview of the costs and escalate if its required)
- Support the project manager in the following areas:
- request purchase orders in different countries depends on project (e.g. Germany, UK, Netherlands)
- request new invoices from the vendor/ supplier if its necessary
- check the CMT Files (documented project costs) on a monthly basis
- support the monthly status report of the project/ programme
- initiate cost transfers between countries and cost centres, where its necessary (UFA - upfront agreement, Intercompany charging (also know as cross charging of project costs)
- 1-2-1, 1-2-M, one to one cost allocation based on cost centres, one to many cost allocations based on cost centres in different countries
- support and clarify the project timesheet if they are note correct charged to the project (Clarification will be managed with the BAS Finance Department)

Skills:
- experience with order systems like SAP
- proven working experience in managing project financials
- Degree in accounting
- knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process in project environments
- excellent accounting software user and administration skills
- advanced user of the following Microsoft products: Excel, Power Point, Word

Language:
- English und Polish (fluent)
