Project Controller

Project Controller - Contract - Cornwall - £200 - 300 per day

We have a brand new opportunity for a DV Cleared Project Controller! This is a Contract role based in Cornwall. You will be responsible for the maintenance of a busy Project site, providing co-ordination, 'Best Practice' administration and process advice and support to Project Managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Collate, review and challenge Project Managers weekly report submissions.
- Attend weekly meetings with key suppliers to respond to queries/issues raised and track delivery targets, challenging where required.
- Provide advice, guidance and support to Project Managers, ie templates, knowledge base (Best Practice) supporting documentation etc.
- Maintain soft and hard copy filing of all project documentation and provide guidance on document management.
- Produce formal engagement letters to key suppliers.
- Prepare and minute team meetings.
- Produce monthly reports
- Continually seek improvements to maximise client satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support and any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Programme Management.
- At times, manage the delivery of small work packages under direction.

ESSENTIAL:

- Experience of working in a busy Project environment.
- Holding DV Clearance.
- Excellent administrative and organisation skills.
- Effectively challenges and influences decision makers.
- Able to adapt to fluctuating workloads, with the ability to work under pressure and manage a variety of priorities to meet deadlines.
- Able to respond quickly and efficiently to escalated issues/concerns.
- Good level of IT ability.
- Good experience of using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook.

DESIRABLE:

- PRINCE2 Foundation.
- Used to working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Project planning/scheduling experience.
