URGENT CONTRACT:

Project Control Engineer PMO analyst

Glasgow

Up to 300pd

Our client based in Glasgow are currently looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join the team on a 6 month rolling contract to support with a large scale project to control and monitor the project, control accounts, delivery of time scales, budget and quality, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plans on a weekly basis. Experience within the Construction, Defense, Energy or Nuclear industries would be advantageous. Experience with Earned Value Management in a previous project would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities for the Project Control Engineer:

* Control and monitor project control accounts so they are delivered to agreed times, budget and quality
* Earned Value Management ensuring the data is correct and any issues are swiftly resolved
* Preparation of accurate metrics and reports (weekly performance review and monthly packs) and customer reports involving analysing inputs from many sources
* Manage change process ensuring monthly reconciliation of budgets in planning tool, RAM and cost model
* Ensure Project Governance activities are completed in a timely manner.

Key Skills & experience for the Project Control Engineer:

* Experience of managing change process
* Understanding around governance within projects
* Ability to produce metric reports
* Experience with Crystal Reporting would be desirable
* Experience of working of a larger programme of work within the construction industry
* Risk and Issue spotting, highlighting to senior members through detailed analysis
* Strong with all aspects of MS Office alongside the ability to create detailed yet simple reports
