Project Configuration Manager (PMO)

We are looking for a PROJECT CONFIGURATION MANAGER (PMO) for a 2 years assignment in Brussels, Belgium.

We are not looking for a senior profile for this role someone with 3 years experience in a role as a PMO would be suitable and at least a year within an IT project implementation environment.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:

Assume the Project Configuration Manager role:

- Develop and maintain the project configuration management plan
- Take ownership of the project document repository
- Account for key project deliverables
- Maintain a coherent set of Configuration Item (CI) records
- Coordinate deliverables review
- Provide periodic and on-demand reporting on configuration management

Assume the Project Communication Manager role:

- Develop and maintain the project communication plan
- Take (content) ownership of the project website(s) and mailbox
- Maintain the project registers (project log, issues, risks, stakeholders map, dependencies)
- Acquire assumptions and decisions from project team meetings and disseminate them as required
- Manage communication traffic with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide periodic and on-demand reporting on configuration management

Assume the Project Change Manager role:

- Implement project-level change management
- Maintain the change register
- Act as CAB secretary at project CAB meetings
- Provide periodic and on-demand reporting on change management

THE ASSIGNED INDIVIDUAL(S) WOULD NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

- [M] An Security clearance valid until the end of 2016 at minimum
- [M] English 4343 (see STANAG 6001);
- [M] A university degree in Management or Economics, or related discipline, equivalent to a Bachelor's. The lack of a Bachelor's degree may exceptionally be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience.
- [M] Experience in an IT project implementation environment at least 1 year;
- [M] Knowledge of PRINCE2 method at Foundation level;
- [S] Proven ability to review project and technical documents;
- [S] High proficiency in using MS Project tool;
- [S] High proficiency in using Windows 7/10, Office 2013/2016, SharePoint 2013 tools;
- [C] High proficiency in using MS Enterprise Project Management tool;
- [C] Able to learn new procedures and terminology quickly;
- [C] Able to operate under time pressure;
