Projektbeschreibung

The successful candidate will be accountable to the relevant Project Manager Developing; maintaining and documenting appropriate plans and controls for the project in line with the change lifecycle. You will be ensuring the appropriate governance disciplines are observed, reviewing project and supplier documentation as well as plans to highlight any issues that may compromise delivery.

You will also be involved in the following:

Facilitating resolution of project issues and mitigation of project risks, Maintaining project documentation, Making a constructive contribution to project management processes Produce project documentation Manage issues; risks; dependencies; assumption and other controls Arrange; prepare materials; facilitate; chair and document meetings Monitor and report on progress Manage project resources including staff; contractors and spend Assure suppliers plans; project controls and progress reports Manage QA processes Demonstrate learning's achieved on the project Track record of successful delivery in an equivalent role with equivalent level of responsibility in complex IT application projects Knowledge of industry standard methods and tools Experience of working successfully with IT supplier staff and representatives from business teams to delivery new systems Experience of working successfully in large; complex organisations

Roles you will undertake:

Be a member of a team liaising with customers, stakeholders and industry to develop and deliver the Mode 5 Identification and Foe (IFF) equipment project.
Management of government furnished assets (GFA).
Monitoring and management of contractor's documentation, and keeping records.

Management of GFA which includes equipment and information. (Note: the GFA required had already been identified).
Reviewing, revising and/or establishing internal business agreements (IBA) with the assets owners for the issue of GFA
Liaison with assets owners for issue of GFA in accordance with the contractors' timetable as agreed as per contract award.
Liaison with the contractors for the issue of GFA
Maintain a loan register and make it available for audit as when required.
GFA risk and opportunity management.

Management of the assessment phase stage 2 deliverables - logging, monitoring to agreed timescales and the return of comments/acceptance information to the contractors in a timely manner.
Attending team meetings and attending meetings with contractors as required

It is likely that only one to two trips will be required although it will be more of an adhoc rather than a regular basis. You will travel in a MoD hire vehicle if required with other team members or use public transport.

Security clearance - minimum Security Check

Skills - Defence Supply Chain experience would be desirable, project management skills especially with project records (documents/GFA) configuration control experience.
