Project/Business Management Investment Banking

The role is largely a financial role and will involve providing project support and co-ordination of reporting requirements for financial and headcount management, in addition to progress tracking of milestones and deliverables within the Programme.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Collation and preparation of monthly financial data, including forecasts, for Compliance and Bank senior management to support the management of the programme. This will include the communication and management of outcomes and issues.
- Acting as the interface with Finance, various consultants and other members of the COO team to ensure that Programme outcomes are incorporated in departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Collating data and updating progress on existing and new initiatives, in addition to monitoring and escalation to COO/management, where appropriate, key issues and variances to project milestones/budget/forecast
- Assistance with the management of headcount/resourcing plans for the Programme
- Other ad-hoc projects and BAU work

Experience:

- Degree that requires strong numerical/analytical skills.
- Qualified accountant
- Experience of working in a financial services environment, preferably in Finance (but not essential).
- Understanding of budgets and financial control.
- Proven record of delivery.
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent understanding of finance/IT (Excel in particular) and is happy to work to a detailed level in both areas
