Context
Working within Alpha-Credit, the Project Business Analyst is the key stakeholder in the organization and serves as the final authority for decisions regarding priority, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the Project teams. The Project Business Analyst possesses an in depth knowledge of the goals and desired objectives of the business and is the primary interface between the business and the development team. Where necessary, this position will assist with capturing requirement from. The pressure to deliver the right features with high accuracy and superior quality largely rests on the shoulders of the Project Business Analyst.

Function Description
° Engages with stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, and to capture requirements.
° Works with stakeholders to build, maintain, prioritize, and prune the backlog.
° Represents stakeholder and business needs in roadmap and planning sessions.
° For Agile projects :
o Acts as a fully integrated team member by participating in the daily scrums, sprint planning meetings & reviews, and retrospectives.
o Ensures that the next sprint is ready to commence and is responsible for the day-to-day management of change requests in relation to the project plans and deadlines.
o Conducts sprint/iteration demos.
° Uses clear goals to communicate the project vision at the beginning of every project stage (or sprint in Agile-projects) so that the project team understands and is equipped to realize it.
° Inspects the product's progress at the end of every project stage (or sprint in Agile-projects) and has authority to accept or reject work completed as meeting the definition of done.
° Makes business decisions and clearly communicates requirements so they are understood by both stakeholders and the scrum team.
° Communicates status outside the team to stakeholders according to prioritized business goals and information needs.
° Communicates internally and externally to maintain and improve transparency with stakeholders.
° Remains accessible and participates proactively and constantly in the team activities.
° Steers the backlog/product to ensure delivery of business value.
° Remains visible, vocal, and objective to both the project/scrum team and the stakeholders
