Project Analyst/Project Manager

Position Title: Project Analyst/Project Manager

Duration: Contract- 6 months, 2 year+ project

Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown)

Our client is seeking a Project Analyst/Project Manager for a contract position in the Midtown Atlanta area. The Project Manager will oversee a 2 year+ project consolidating applications and associated environments. This role will be working with mass amounts of data tracking transportation and logistics information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with users to discuss problem analysis, systems modifications and gather requirements.
- Coordinate all aspects of project management including management of scope, requirements, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement, and integration.
- Prepare detailed project plans using appropriate PM tools: MS Project, MS Office, etc.
- Prepare project reports and summaries, manage scheduling, and conduct/facilitate project meetings.
- Facilitate cross-functional, intra-department, and inter-department communications.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 4-year College Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or Project Management
- 7-10 years of project management experience in a corporate environment
- Extensive experience managing using a structured System Development Life Cycle
- Extensive project analysis experience
- MS Office Suite, especially MS Project
