Project Analyst - Banking and Finance PMO - Edinburgh - £250-£350 p/d

Global Banking Group are looking to expand their Edinburgh Tech and Project teams and will be hiring a number of Contract positions including Project Analysts, Project Coordinators and Programme Admministrators.

The Project Analyst will be responsible for coordinating a busy Portfolio of technology and business change Projects. We are looking for skills in project administration to include documentation, logging, tracking, monitoring, scheduling, minute taking and interacting with a range of technical, non technical and managerial staff in a face to face, walk and talk capacity. We expect to see proven experience in assisting large scale Programmes of work and delivering rigour and consistency to ensure all parts are properly tracked, recorded and chased.

You should display strong written and verbal communication skills, be adept at using Visio, Word and Excel, be able to write and communicate regular status updates and be comfortable interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of Projects. We also expect to see a team-oriented style and a strong work ethic - this is a busy portfolio and needs consistency in approach and documentation.

Ideally you will have worked as a Project Analyst or Project Coordinator in Banking, Cards, Retail, Personal or Business banking sectors but we would also consider those from a Systems Integrator or Technology Vendor background delivering consultancy or technology into the Banking domain, or those who have experience in assisting on very large scale, enterprise PMO's.

Role duration 6-12 months but with a strong potential for longer term secondments to other project areas for the right individuals.
