The Project Analyst will be responsible to support project managers in managing, planning, and monitoring key projects from conception through implementation. Key duties will be to gather, analyze, verify, define and document actionable Business Requirements. Will work very closely with Business Clients, Technical Members, and Project Sponsors to ensure the project objective and scope is clearly documented. This team member must have the knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).This member must also have the interviewing, facilitation, organizational and analytical skills necessary to deliver comprehensive, clear and actionable requirements to the technical teams.

The Project Analyst will also be responsible for conducting process analysis, process evaluation and assist in implementing process improvements. This position is responsible for analysis and documentation of relevant business processes, inclusive of facilitating user interview/meetings and documenting the current and future state of business process via Visio flowcharts, Microsoft Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.



- REQUIRED: AA degree in a related field or five (5) or more years experience as a Project Analyst or business process analyst working with computerized management systems. Thorough knowledge of Healthcare data elements required.
- PREFERRED: Bachelors degree in related field



- Proven ability to significantly impact process improvement and process management.
- Ability to document scope, business requirements in a clear and concise manner.
- Thorough understanding of relevant industry practices, techniques and standards.
- Proficiency with process modelling, analysis and simulation tools.
- Extensive background in change control management.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of business process/life cycle management principles, theories and concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools.
- In-depth experience with process improvement methods (such as business process reengineering).
- Articulates relevant information and directions in an organized and concise manner.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Decision making/problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical and lateral thinking skills.


- Proficient with Process Improvement Methodology including defining and documenting workflow.
- Program and project level planning, mobilization and management; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
