Project Administrator

Project Administrator and Support:

Previous experience of Project Administration and experience of working in a Project based environment is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Act as a contact point for new custom projects/requests within their technology area(s)
- Understand the manufacturing environment and processes for their product ranges, and build relationships with operational teams
- Create feasibility and costing data for their product ranges quickly by interacting with the correct teams and understanding customer URS
- Identify quickly if a project mechanism is required for a custom request in order to direct the opportunity to the correct process
- Escalate any issues to Global PMR leader & Global Customs Operations leader as appropriate
- Ensure all stakeholders (commercial and supply chain) are kept informed on custom opportunities, item activation deadlines and new order timelines
- Manage the data systems through registration and ensure that specification and work with local manufacturing engineers to ensure that process documentation is correct before launch to avoid delays
- Ensure that the planning team take ownership of any new product & that customer requirements (including lead times and inventory flags) are transferred into Supply Chain
- Ensure that all new products comply with QMS requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Project management process, or project administration experience, preferably in either a scientific, engineering or sales environment
- Understanding/direct experience of manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ERP and/or product design systems
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Good communication skills at all levels of business
- Familiarity with the requirements of ISO9001/ISO13485 is desirable
- Degree level education in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, or similar level of work experience is desirable but not essential
