Project Accounts (Excel Vlookup, Pivot) - Product Control

As part of the bank's APAC book project they are looking for an experienced Financial Accounts project specialist with excellent Microsoft Excel skills to help oversee the important processing of identified Asia Markets books. Delivering book reallocation for the group is key in reducing operational risk and improve process efficiency across the front to back, cross asset business areas. This is an urgent requirement for a business critical project.

DUTIES

- Understand the front to back static setup flow for all trading systems in the APAC business
- Actively coordinate the front to back processing of trading books
- Clean up of the financial balance sheets
- Provide daily status updates and active escalation of issues
- Drive process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and control of book population
- Liaison with support functions and book owners to ensure timely resolution of queries and issues arising from book closures

REQUIREMENTS

- Ideally a qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, CPA) but not essential for project.
- Any financial ledger experience.
- Excellent Excel skills (vlookup, Pivot Table).
- Any experience working in a Product Control position in a large sell side firm highly desirable.
- Finance ledger experience desirable.
