PROJECT ACCOUNTANT,  ACCA, ACA, CIMA

Our client, a leading global insurance organisation, are looking to recruit the services of an Project Accountant to work an initial 3-month contract in Fareham, Hampshire (extension likely).

As the Project Accountant, the post-holder will assisting with the financial management of a large programme.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Responsible for the planning and delivery of specific initiatives.
- Deliver a quality product.
- Promote positive customer and supplier perception
- Focus on continuously developing business relationships
- Target achievement and reporting

Key skills:

- Proven Project Accountancy experience, ideally (but not essential) in the insurance sector
- Experience with dealing with suppliers
- Dealing with work order processes with IT partners
- Dealing with IT spend categories
- Experience of working with multiple projects including budgeting & variance analysis (budget setting desirable)
- Experience of analysing financial information and interpreting it for non-financial audience
- Use of accounting software packages and reporting packages
- Reporting Financial information and preparing presentations of such information to forums such as steering groups (experience with pack reporting is desirable)
