Project Accountant,

My client are looking to create a new business model and create an outsourcing commercial business venture offering a range of professional services to the Education sector

- Analyse the total costs of all relevant services in scope, including the breakdown of direct and indirect costs etc.
- Capture current service volumes and the potential capacity
- Produce full unit cost analysis for all components of the service including marginal costs
- Capture potential pricing strategies

* Complete detailed benchmarking of other competitor service offer and pricing strategies, including identification of comparable private sector services.

* Consider pricing strategies in the context of potential future operating structures for delivering service offers and outline the advantages and disadvantages of each.

* Utilising the output from the above, provide financial modelling to inform the preparation of a full business case which should include a detailed 3 year financial plan containing potential turnover, set-up and on-going cost requirements, risk, issues and any key dependencies.

* Propose key financial processes and checks and balances

* Qualified Accountant with appropriate experience both in Local Government as well as Private sector.

* Full understanding of the interaction between operational activity, financial impact and re-design.

* Strong evidence of developing a financial planning model in excel and a business case.

* Sound commercial acumen and experience of developing a costing model and business case to support the setting up a trading relationship within clients.

* Immediately available and experience of working to tight deadlines.

* Experience of working in a project and programme management environment.
