Project Accountant:

Role Summary:

The Project Accountant supports the Lead Project Accountant and the Regional Finance Manager in producing Finance deliverables and meeting corporate deadlines. The role requires day-to-day activities covering General Accounting, Project Forecasting, Project Reporting and ad-hoc month end duties.

. Collating Revenue and Cost information for key Projects within the business

. Supporting the Project team with financial information and participate in Project reviews

. Provide challenge to Project team to maintain/improve margins

. Checking revenue streams and comparing them to QMI and Full Cost Model expected revenues

. Support Project Team:

. Report actual costs to date, forecast outstanding costs and estimate final margin

. Identify variances

. Challenge Project Team:

. Review actual and forecast margin variances with Project team

. Participation in ad-hoc projects as required by the Regional Finance Manager

Requirements:

. Accountant studying towards a Professional Qualification such as ACCA or CIMA Established Finance Career including hands-on ERP experience

. Team player with good communication skills at all levels

. Hard-working individual who enjoys challenges

. Experience in oil industry products or in manufacturing industry

. Hands-on experience of Oracle ERP system

£25 to £29 an hour Ltd

6 to 12 month contract
