Position: Project Accountant
Job type: Contract (6 months Initially)
Skills: ACA/CIMA/ACCA, LCM, Tender Vets, EVM, Project Finance
Location: Cumbria easily commutable from Lancaster, Barrow in Furness, Morecombe and with excellent access from The Lake District
Rate: £35.96 Per Hour LTD

OUTSOURCE UK LTD are actively seeking to recruit a Accountant for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful Project Accountant candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide financial and guidance to one of our clients team
Support contract closure activities
Preparation of the monthly management accounts, annual budgeting and CSR's/SSR's (Contract Status Report/Summary Status Report)
Submission of monthly cash claims including customer liaison

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA
An effective communicator, especially with non-financial personnel and able to work in a cross functional team.
Needs to be proactive with a can do approach
Strong analytical skills
Project Finance knowledge desirable
Experience of Long Term contracting preferable (including LCM, Tender Vets, and EVM)
Production of monthly accounts and budgeting
