PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
Type: 3 Month Contract
Location: Bridport
Rate: £17 per hour PAYE, £21.18 Limited Rate

Our client manufactures High Performance and Triple Offset Butterfly Valves which are used in severe Service conditions, throughout the Oil exploration industry.
Our client has full order books, and is looking for additional people, to supplement their team.

JOB SUMMARY:

To provide interim support to the Financial Controller and other members of the Finance Team, focusing specifically on the areas of cash/debtor management and sales contract reconciliation, with the aim of introducing robust procedures to address current system weaknesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales contract management, including milestone invoicing, commission reconciliation, bank guarantees, debt chasing, liaison with Contract Managers
Accounts receivable, cash application, debtor reporting
Cash management, bank reconciliations
Month end balance sheet control account reconciliations
Month end journal entries
VAT/Intrastat/EC Sales reporting
Employee expenses processing and reporting
Fixed assets
Liaison with HMRC, bankers, auditors, other third parties as required

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE:

Part or fully qualified CIMA or ACCA
5+ years QBE
Manufacturing/Engineering experience
Demonstrable record of process improvements
