Project Accountant

My client is a high profile property development company with a major project now under way in Central London.  In order to progress the development of the finance team, a newly qualified Financial Accountant is being sought to work closely both with the CFO and the Director of Finance as well as the development & project teams.

The major responsibilities of the role will be:

Preparation of monthly project drawdowns

Preparation of VAT and other statutory returns

Preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated management accounts

Preparation of quarterly & annual IFRS Group Reporting Pack for shareholders

Preparation of Budget variance analyses of key businesses & project costs

Preparation of input into tax computations prepared

Maintenance and improvement of month end accounting controls

Assist CFO and Head of Finance on ad hoc issues

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant who as already had exposure to the property development sector, or has a strong interest in it. Prospects are excellent, there is great scope for creating a bigger role in due course.
