The Role:
The purpose of this role is to assume responsibility for the financial management and control of a number of Aircraft Programmes contracts.

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following;
Completion of IBP
Monthly Reportings
CSRs
Sales and Margin Trading plans
Cash Management and Bid support within reporting deadlines
Satisfy all reporting deadlines and requirements, ensuring all financial plans have been agreed with the contract owners, are achievable and represent a true and fair view of the financial health of the contracts
Financial control and governance applied in accordance with the BAE Systems Operational Framework, Financial Controls Framework and Finance Policies Manual, to satisfy all Internal Control requirements, including external and internal audit processes
Working in cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement of project processes.

The successful candidate will ideally be:
Part/Full Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
Prior Project Accounting experience
Strong numerical and analytical skills along with good Excel skills
Good communication skills
Knowledge of the BaaN systems and TM01 is desirable but not essential
Experience of financial reporting to tight deadlines
