We currently have an urgent requirement for a well know Automotive company in the West Midlands who are looking to resource a project accountant to work with an extensive client base, including most major vehicle manufacturers. Working within the Operations department on project work, key elements of the role will include; designing, building and owning robust financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting.
The role would suit a candidate with a financial or accounting background.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Attention to detail
- Logical approach with a high level of numeracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-starter
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Commercially aware
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience of Activity Based Costing and/or demonstrable financial planning and modelling experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, array formulae etc.)
- Accountancy Qualifications are beneficial but not an essential.
