We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for PROGRESS APPLICATION DEVELOPER.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

- Looking for mid level role to give support in APP implemented project.
- Ability to work independently on team/project-based initiatives
- The ability to mentor other developers and take the lead on key project elements
- Business process analysis skills

EXPERIENCE:

- 5+ years IT experience as a Progress application developer, with equal expertise in graphical and character-based interfaces.
- 2 - 3 + year's experience with Unix/Linux OS and Shell Scripting
- Experience with OpenEdge and Pacific AppServer packages and H2 DB preferred.
- Good experience working with additional relational database management software, such as SQL or Oracle.
- Experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Experience with GitHub or equivalent.
- Experience configuring application Servers such as JBoss and Tomcat is a plus.
- Front End development skills using JavaScript, HTML5, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS3, debugging and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Object Oriented development especially within OpenEdge Storefront, Apache Tomcat, Agile, J2EE experience
- Knowledge of source code control applications and how they fit into the SDLC
- Web Server Experience IIS/Apache
- Prior Agile/SCRUM development methodology experience
- Proficient design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating System and commands
- DUTCH SPEAKING
