GAMING TOOLS PROGRAMMER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:

- In this role you will support and enhance existing tools and in-game features, adding new functionality and features as needed
- Your tasks will be assigned and supervised by the more senior programmers on the project, and you will be required to work within the guidelines set by those programmers
- Maintain and enhance proprietary, in-house tools and in-game code
- Develop new, proprietary, in-house tools and in-game code
- Provide support to presentation and audio designers
- Troubleshoot issues, finding and implementing solutions

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires four to seven (4-7) years of related IT experience within a technical discipline.
- Two (2) plus years of programming experience in C++
- Previous experience collaborating on a team
- Basic understanding of baseball
- Experience with 2D/3D Graphics
- Experience with audio programming
- Experience with animation systems
- Experience with user interface design and implementation
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM
- Motivated self-starter
- Passion for video games and sports
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment
- Detail oriented, and organized
- Good communication skills
