Programmer Analyst - HP Service Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROGRAMMER ANALYST to join our client in Bellevue WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs.
- Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements.
- Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications.
- Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance.
- Identifies and recommends improvements.
- Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems.
- Analyzes information to determine computing applications and architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other programmer or application architecture requirements.
- Designs application architecture, integrates application software, database and delivery subsystems for specific applications.
- Identifies and resolves application architecture problems.
- Schedules and plans assigned work.
- Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects.
- Designs, codes, compiles and tests programs of a moderately complex nature.
- Demonstrates knowledge of internal structure of the database(s) used.
- Prepares program specifications for assigned programming tasks.
- Conducts design review and structured walk-through presentations.
- Prepares program documentation in compliance with established departmental standards.
- Investigate, analyzes, and resolves application problems.
- Applies software engineering standards, processes, and techniques in assigned tasks.

Job Qualifications:
- Typically five (5) or more years as HP Service Manager utilizing Java, RAD Applications, in-depth workflow knowledge of Scheduler, events, triggers, ioactions, format controls, display options/screens, Script Libraries, and WSDL. This includes experience with SQL/SQLPlus (Oracle 10g/11g), Connect-IT (Data Transformation), Java, UNIX/Linux, Windows, (OS experience includes host Scripting), Apache/TomCat.
- An integration understanding to other systems, specifically, Release Control, Asset Manager, uCMDB.
- Five (5) or more years of experience designing, programming, testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining computing applications, software and computing application systems.
- Desire two (2) or more years of experience with ClearQuest and ClearCase.
- Intensive skills in HP Service Manager development including system language, Server Side JavaScript, document engine, system techniques, and debugging.
- Experience in developing large scale application with performance and security consideration.
- Knowledge in software development life cycle and be process oriented.
- Ability to work with business analysts to understand, interpret, and implement requirements.
- Experience in IDE Eclipse, HTML, Java, JSP, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, and Shell Scripting.
- Knowledge of HP tool suite and interfaces between Service Manager, Release Control, and uCMDB.
