Programmer Analyst

DUTIES:
- Software and technical support for a Geospatial Information System viewer and its various components. Support includes answering client tickets and calls as well as contacting the vendor for resolution of the issue. In some cases minor development may be necessary to fix the issue.

SKILLS:
- Understanding interfaces between the GIS viewer and ancillary systems
- Development in VB.NET, basic understanding of WebSphere MQ
- Familiarity with databases (SQL Server and Oracle), knowledge of database replication would be a plus
- Developing a .NET ICE Interface to SynerGEE

EXPERIENCE:
1+ years - Independently manage own daily priorities and tasks resulting from support or project activities.
1+ years - Experience managing small projects or phases of small projects (Preferred).
3+ years - Experience in .NET application development concepts including analysis, design, programming and testing.

EDUCATION:
Associates Degree; Required.
Bachelor's Degree; Preferred.
Area of Study: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
