Programmer Analyst

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data analysis, reporting, issue tracking/management, status reporting/management and other analysis to support the safety and quality initiatives. This individual will work alongside other programmers, project improvement specialists, project managers, as well as other divisions within the organization such as Finance, Health Information Management, revenue Management, Information Systems.

Daily Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design, development, testing, and support new and existing SQL Server 2005/2008 Databases
2. Assist in the design, development, testing and support new and existing web applications using VB.NET or C#.net and ASP.NET
3. Produce presentations, spreadsheets and other documents
4. Manage complex databases and supervise report generation - preferred skillsets in Tableau, crystal reporting, SQL server reporting
5. User needs assessments, compliance, and other usage related processes for internal reporting systems
6. Database integration and system testing/troubleshooting
7. Maintain/modify/interface with existing Microsoft Access databases - Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and monitor changes
8. Troubleshoot, improve/automate existing applications and data integration processes
9. Identify issues, recommend and implement solutions
10. Communicate effectively with others having varying levels of technical experience

Additional Skills:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or Information Systems
a. Background in RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) and RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) a very big preference
2. At least 4 years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (stored procedures, functions).
3. At least 3 years of experience using ASP.NET
4. At least 3 years of experience using Microsoft Access with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
5. Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, attention to details and multi-tasking abilities.
6. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement.
7. Experience in process flow mapping/diagraming
8. Experience in project management
9. Have the ability to work effectively with others and good interpersonal skills.
