Job Description:
- Review Common Look and Feel (CLF) Centre of Expertise (COE) Official Assessment report of identified failed checkpoints
- Evaluate potential use of Treasury Board Secretariat's Web Experience Toolkit (WET)
- Correct existing code to address deficiencies identified in Common Look and Feel
(CLF) Centre of Expertise (COE) Official Assessment report based on WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines
- Identify and test revised code changes required to meet WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines
- Ensure application/site is re-evaluated by IITB's Common Look and Feel (CLF) Centre of
expertise to validate that 100% accessibility is achieved and provide knowledge transfer to junior developers.
Mandatory Qualifications: - Must have a minimum of 5 years experience coding in an ASP. NET web application
- Must have experience applying Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0 based on World Wide Web Consortium proposed resource should have experience coding in XML.
- Must have 3 years of experience coding in HTML (4.01 or higher) and Cascading Style Sheets
- Experience in writing IT technical documents or specifications such as design specifications, functional specifications, coding standards, release documentations, implementation documentations, system flowcharts, architecture documents
