Programmer

Remote PositionBUT ATTENDANCE AT SOME MEETINGS IN OR AROUND ATLANTA WILL BE REQUIRED.

Seeking Programmer to revise  Student Orientation course to include badging and gaming components. The orientation course is mandatory for new students. This self-paced course walks them through the components necessary for online learning. Technical expertise will be required to incorporate the gaming and badging components. Client needs experts to help scope out a solution. This could be incorporating existing platforms or coding the solution in house.  

Programmer will evaluate a learning platform to be incorporated into D2L. Work with support team to move content into platform and add gaming and badging components.

Responsibilities:

- Work with designated Project Manager to meet goals, deliverables, and timing.
- API Developer

Job Requirements:

- Knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and jQuery
- Understanding of RESTful Web Services technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Writes well-documented code
- Familiarity with badging and gaming preferred
- K-12 background a plus
