You will join the software development team based at the Warwick Medical School, Division of Health Sciences - Clinical Trials Unit, as a Programmer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications used to support the unit's varied and pioneering research projects.

You will work closely with the Senior Programmer to scope and develop solutions that integrate with existing systems and programming frameworks. This will involve interacting with staff outside of the team to understand their requirements and their processes. You will be creating data centric, meta-data driven web applications using an in-house built framework and to work on tailored-made bespoke projects.

You will have strong web programming and database skills with experience of developing in ASP.NET and SQL Server (2005+).

Knowledge of a least one of the following is essential:
WCF development, client-side programming (Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON), XML technologies (XSD, XSLT, XPath, XQuery). Previous experience of working in a scrum development team would be advantageous.
