Programme Support Team Leader - Contract - Gloucester

PROGRAMME SUPPORT TEAM LEADER - CONTRACT - GLOUCESTER

The key purpose of the role is the provision of direction and leadership of the Programme Support teams within the company.

This support will include the development and implementation of effective programme control measures to monitor, manager and report on the performance of the programme, and the provision of information and support to the project teams.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide high quality, relevant advice and guidance to the Programme Executive and its programme management team
- Leading the development of project support capabilities within the programme and managing the overall performance of this function
- Preparing input from the programme for business plans and forecast update
- Developing required project execution plans and associated work breakdown schedules and cost breakdown schedules
- Managing a small team in a demanding environment

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

- Experienced project orientated approach with a relevant background together with direct experience of large and complex engineering/infrastructure projects
- Excellent understanding of project principles and methodology, and in particular effective project control tools and techniques.
