PROGRAMME RESOURCE MANAGER - INFORMATION ASSET MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING, REAL TIME 'RESPONSIVE' PLANNING, EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A BUSY PROGRAMME OFFICE AS PART OF AN EVOLVING PROGRAMME ENVIRONMENT.

I am looking for a Programme Resource Manager who has experience in Resource Planning, Information Asset Management, Business Continuity Planning, Real Time 'responsive' Planning and have experience working in a busy programme office as part of an evolving programme environment to work on a 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension) for a high profile Government organisation based in Central London.

This role will include a small amount of domestic travel to the regional offices for training purposes.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMME RESOURCE MANAGER CONTRACT ROLE

- You will undertake the annual, quarterly, and Real Time 'responsive' planning process for operational resource management working with Programme Director and the Leadership Team, to ensure the Programme has a clear and fully costed forward analysis of the people requirements needed to meet its business commitments;
- Work with the Programme Director, the Leadership Team and HR to develop best practice approaches to capability profiling and management, so that the Programme can identify the people and skills necessary to design and deliver its portfolio (current and projected) efficiently and cost effectively
- You will confidently engage with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels to generate commitment to goals.
- You will actively build and maintain a network of colleagues and contacts to achieve progress on objectives and shared interests.
- You will establish and drive intra and inter team discussions to learn from experience and adapt organisational processes and plans.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE PROGRAMME RESOURCE MANAGER

- You will have a track record in workforce planning/resource management and managing a mixed resource group effectively (staff, contractors, suppliers) across multiple teams/locations
- You will have previous experience of capturing business reporting needs and defining and delivering solutions including managing and reporting on MI to senior managers
- You will have third-party management experience, particularly of contractors, consultants and delivery partners.
- Previous experience in implementing change management, corporate programmes and transformation
- Track record in identifying process improvement opportunities and driving solutions
- Strong experience of finance, budget management and reporting.
- Proven ability to work with, influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders of all levels.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to guide and coach all members of the programme team across all levels on best practice.

The role is based in London this is commutable from Canterbury, Chelmsford, Luton, Reading and Southend-On-Sea
