We are currently recruiting for a contract role for Programme Office Manager to work in Corsham, Wiltshire.

This is a contract role paying £450-£540 per day Ltd and is initially a 6 month contract.

Skills and Experience:

*MOD experience
*MSP Prince2 APMP is desirable
*Understanding MOD approval and assurance process
*Experience of working on CAT A -D (Category of project)
*Previous experience in a similar position

The Role:

Develop Project Through Life Management Plan, Prepare documentation/presentations to support the Governance Boards, Produce monthly finance Reports, Deliver project assurance documentation, Programme Governance.

1. Implement the governance arrangements as defined in the programme Plan in line with guidance from the Deputy Programme Manager
2. Prepare the programme Baseline Documentation set, and agree them with the appropriate Project Assurance authorities. Set to include Programme Briefs, Benefits Review Plan, Work and Schedule plan, Stage/Exception Plans, Product Descriptions and Work Package descriptions developing the Through life management plan
3. Identify the resources required to discharge programme and prospective project activities and liaise with Resource Manager to agree provision of available resource or to generate an agreed recruitment plan for additional resource.
4. Undertake or delegate activities to manage programme control, including registers and plans for managing, lessons, issues, risks, assumptions, configuration management and project dependencies and programme/project audits.
5. Monitor and Report on Programme progress on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as agreed with the governance Boards acting as secretary as required.
6. Prepare and manage the Programme budget, maintain an authoritative record of all project commitment and spend to date and prepare monthly forecasts of outturn.
7. Monitor project compliance against the terms of project approvals and inform the Programme Manager and Project Board at the earliest opportunity whenever an approvals breach becomes likely or there is a significant risk of a breach
8. Support Stakeholder management activities as required
9. Ensure that lessons identified are applied where relevant. Conduct periodic (not less than yearly) Learning from Experience reviews on the project involving stakeholders.
10. Lead on co-ordinating and supporting project investment appraisal self assurance.

*SC Clearance will be required before starting in this role*
