Programme Manager - Risk - EPE - Basel III - London

PROGRAMME MANAGER - RISK - EPE - BASEL III - LONDON

My client a Tier One Investment bank based in London, is looking for an experienced Programme Manager with extensive Risk delivery experience to lead a Strategic EPE project. The client is in the midst of a re-engineering process around the business' Risk Scenariowith an in-depth understanding of VaR, EPE and PFE calculations.

This is a business area in the midst of regulatory delivery therefore any prior exposure to Basel III would be advantageous.

A key deliverable of this role will be interfacing with Senior Stakeholders from Board level all the way to teams of business analysts and developers. It is essential that candidates have proven stakeholder management skills; shaping steering commitees and creating meeting proposals.

The client is in the midst of a large period of growth within this area and the successful candidate will become a key part of departmental change. It is essential that candidates come from a Solid Investment Banking background.

SKILLS:

- Delivery focused Programme Manager
- Previous experience Delivering Risk projects
- EPE, PFE and VaR experience
- Planning, organisation and control of projects during the whole project life cycle to agreed timescales and budgets
- Proven ability to successfully deliver client on boarding projects
- Ownership and management of project goals, risks, finances and resources
- Obtaining agreement on project deliverables and ensuring that they meet all the requirements of both the business and across multiple systems groups
- It is essential that candidates have managed multiple global programmes of work; acting as the key resources in the delivery of global deployments and integrations
- Act as a central point of contact.
- Management of programme team in a direct and Matrix style as required
- Prince II certified
