Programme Manager - EPF

Fixed Term Contract until March 2014

Location: Chelmsford

£35,500 - £59,500 per annum

Full-time: 37 hours per week

We are looking for customer focused people to join our Information Services (IS) team and help us deliver our transformational programme. You will need to be passionate about providing top quality services for our customers and tenacious in your approach to achieving them.

Essex County Council (ECC) is the second largest authority in the UK. We are now seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager to support the implementation of our Property Transformation Programme. This programme will deliver significant improvements to the property portfolio used by ECC within the geography of Essex, and is tied to delivery of the council's Transformation Programme (currently delivering over £300m of savings to the authority). The successful candidate will be required to define and deliver the IT related components of the Property Transformation Programme (expected to include modernisation of existing sites and co-location within partner organisations, as well as managing IT elements of tactical moves to enable the strategic moves to take place).

Any successful applicant to this post would be appointed on a fixed term contract.
