Programme Manager - Data Centre Expansion

My client a large national organisation has an immediate contract for an experienced Technical - Programme Manager to join their Data centre Team. Your role will assist and manage the creation of a new data centre. This is a twelve month contract role and possibility to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive, manage and communicate Business plans to key stakeholders
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure project finish date
- Employ technical skills to oversee and manage the approval of new site
- Select a Contractor to design and build a data Centre
- Prepare budgets and procurement necessities

Experience and Requirements:

- Previously worked in a fast paced environment
- Strong managerial, evaluation and communication skills
- Background in Data Centre construction or similar
- Background in UPS, Chillers, switch gear, generators, fresh air cooling and start-up commissioning processes
- An understanding of procurement and design within the construction industry
- Experience in managing M&E vendor
- Relevant academic and/or professional experience/qualification
