Programme Manager - Banking & Finance - Edinburgh - 6-12 Months Contra

Global Banking Group are looking to expand their Edinburgh based PMO and are hiring a senior Programme Manager to assist with a number of new Product Launches into the bank.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing a major Programme workstream which will span a number of Financial Product areas and technical platforms. You will be expected to act as the senior Programme expert and will handle high-risk and high-complexity tasks. You will be expected to contribute to overall Programme governance and best-practice as well as training and mentoring other Project Managers or PMO staff.

Ideally you will have worked as a Programme Manager in large-scale Enterprise Banking Initiatives, budgets in excess of £5-10m, Project Teams in excess of 100-200 and be comfortable working in a high-profile delivery environment.

You should display a superior Project and Programme Management track record and have exposure to banking, cards or payment systems, AML, Credit Risk, Fraud and related Financial Services domain areas. We would also happily consider those from a Systems Integrator or Technology Vendor background delivering consultancy or technology into the Banking domain so long as you have delivered Programmes into the Banking world.

Relevant certifications such as Prince 2, PMP, MoR, MSP etc would be an advantage.

Role duration 6-12 months, rates reflective of Market - please clearly state your current/desired rate range with your application.
