Programme Manager - Aerospace

Job Purpose:
Responsible and accountable for delivering performance from the various fuel contracts to meet the agreed business objectives. This includes contract scope, pricing, profitability, schedule and customer satisfaction to ensure the success of the ventures. Support the Programme and Contract Management team in responding to requests for quote.

Main Responsibilities:
*Responsible for commercial/strategic performance of products health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.
*Adhere to company policies and procedures.
*Undertake other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
*Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customer, suppliers and internal functions.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Apply attention to detail and possess a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
*Self-motivated and able to work within a multi-disciplined team.
*PC and office software skills essential (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and project management tools).
*Able to demonstrate sound business and financial acumen.
*Minimum of 3 years experience in the management of aerospace or industrial projects or contracts.
*Experience in working with operations, supply chain, quality, marketing and trade compliance to co-ordinate purchase orders, contracts and long term agreements.
*Experience of aerospace or defence industry desirable.
*Experience of UK, EU and US Commercial and Government contracting desirable.
*Knowledge of UK, EU and US import and export regulations desirable.
*Only those who are eligible to work on UK, EU and US contracts will be considered for this position.
*Educated to degree level (or equivalent vocational attainment) or able to demonstrate qualification by experience.
