Programme Manager

I am looking to hire for a DV Cleared Programme Manager in Corsham, Wiltshire with my public sector client.

This is a contract role initially for 9 months with possible extension.

The Programme Manager is expected to deliver the following:

Maintain the Programme Plan; implement the programme and proactively monitor its overall progress, managing risk, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate. Managing the communication plan and engagement with stakeholders. Day-today management of the programme, including taking the programme forward from initiation, supervising and closing the programme. Ensure coherence with wider HGM activities. Working closely with the individual Project Managers and the individual work streams to ensure coherence and alignment in the delivery of all products and project objectives. Provision of strategic advice on messaging matters. Being the day-to-day agent on behalf of the SRO, for successful delivery of the new capability. Reporting progress of the programme at regular intervals (ie HGM Programme Board) to the SRO. Defining the programme's governance framework. Managing and resolving programme risks and other issues that may arise.

Provide advice and guidance to the SRO on the following:

Managing the programme's budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs against benefits that are realised as the programme progresses. Ensuring maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the projects dossier. Initiating extra activities and other management interventions whenever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise Project governance as required. Risk and issue management within the programme including oversight and advice to all project managers.
