Programme Manager| Project Manager

Are you an experienced programme/project manager who has a proven track record of successfully delivering large scale multi-million pound, multi-stakeholder projects to time and budget?

Due to a major project bid win, we are now looking for an experienced programme/project manager to successfully deliver this large scale project.

This is a high profile project which also forms part of the government's Automotive Strategy. Success in this project will deliver significant benefit to a large number of supply chain companies and the wider automotive sector - creating and safe guarding many jobs.

The role is focussed on delivering a series of inter-related projects working with around 40 companies and other industry key stakeholders.

Key duties include:

* Provide programme management and deliver projects to plan and within budget.
* Manage relationship between consortium partners.
* Manage funding claims process.
* Manage communications and relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large scale project supporting the UK supply chain companies to develop their competitiveness and capabilities. This programme forms part of a much wider initiative to develop and grow the UK automotive sector.

Essential Criteria:

* Minimum 5 years experience of project managing large scale, multi-million pound, multi-stakeholder projects.
* Excellent project management skills with solid experience of tools such as project plans, Gantt charts, resource plan etc.
* Strong financial background with ability to prepare financial forecasts and interpret financial data.
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
* Highly motivated and target orientated.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of automotive sector and government funded project would be advantageous.
