Programme Manager

They will focus on the delivery schedule managing the milestones, activities and timeframes of the seven key programs (including individual projects contained within these) in the MVE program of work including:

- Building the Enterprise Service Management System (ESMC) against the roadmap
- Centralised Computing (CC) transition continuous improvement projects
- Ways of Working
- Infrastructure Portfolio Office
- Design of infrastructure delivery processes
- Building a strong operational capability
- Hewlett Packard Australia multi-vendor environment

The role is located in Canberra and requires the successful Candidate to hold an In-Confidence clearance or have the ability to acquire one in a timeframe that would not prove detrimental to our requirements. This engagement is for 12 months only and will pay a maximum of $120 per hour ex GST

Skills and Qualifications/Expertise
a) Service Operations is seeking an experienced Program Managers with the following skill sets:
Demonstrated experience in co-ordinating large programs of IT-related work;
Demonstrated experience in managing large IT projects preferably in an APS environment; relevant qualifications and professional memberships would be advantageous.
Experience in ITIL based Service Management and its implementation
Knowledge and/or experience in management of ICT infrastructure and operations;
Experience in service provider management and service provider relationships to help facilitate the transition to a multi-sourced IT environment and the mandated ICT Sourcing Program Operating Model
