PROGRAMME MANAGEMENTOFFICE LEAD/PMO Lead - £250 per day - Bournemouth - 6 month contract

A PROGRAMME OFFICE LEAD/PMO Lead is required by a leading financial services company in Bournemouth.

ROLE PROFILE:

To ensure visibility of spend and status across the portfolio and manage delivery of Programme Office Support capability across the portfolio.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Day to day management of the Programme Office Function in relation to delivering portfolio support

Providing support and guidance to project managers and programme managers at pre-inception, initiation & throughout the life cycle of the programme, ensuring common approach is adopted & sharing good practice.

Check adherence to strategy/programme objectives strengthening governance across the portfolio.

Production of financial and non-financial management information including core KPIs as agreed with Programme Office Manager

Identification of opportunities to continuously improve existing MI.

Delivery of small/medium projects or small pieces of change as agreed with Programme Office Manager or Portfolio manager.

Ensure core Programme Office tools are maintained with data integrity paramount.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers.

Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

Experience of working in a busy environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.

Good ability to continuously prioritise and adapt to a changing environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets

Good understanding of the core PMO tools and importance of data integrity.

Good understanding of project life cycle and impact of change.
