Programme Director Mortgage Market Review (MMR)

Our client is a retail bank.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Although the client has been working on the review they are looking for a programme lead to take responsibility for managing this programme to go live date in April 2014.

The client currently has a number of different mortgage propositions running on a number of different platforms. The role will take responsibility for reviewing all current products, sales and distribution channels and creating and managing processes which will be in line with new regulatory guidance to insure good practice and better deals for consumers. The role will take responsibility for working across various areas of the business including compliance, credit risk, marketing/product and will take responsibility for creating and delivering the end to end change programme.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of mortgages and the sales process through branch networks as well as through intermediaries. They must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the impact of MMR as well as managing complex regulatory programmes to time and budget. Good experience of managing large complex programmes, team management and first class stakeholder management are essential as is experience of retail banking.

Programme directors without detailed knowledge of mortgages will not be considered.
