PROGRAMME DIRECTOR

3 MONTH ROLLING CONTRACT

GERMANY

UP TO £900.00 PER DAY

Our client, a professional services client with office in London and New York are looking for a German speaking Programme Director to work onsite and remote in Germany. The role of the Program Director will be to take responsibility to plan the element of mobilisation, management and delivery of multiple application development programs. Partnering with the business in defining and achieving goals for programs under management.

Objectives: - - Keeping up to date with current industry trends in business management to improve efficiencies across technology.
- Overall financial strategy regarding capital and resources investment
- Measurable continuous improvement of business, people and technology capabilities using Six Sigma and other productivity methodologies and tools
- Development of senior team members through team and individual coaching and mentoring
- Ensure integration of programs with the portfolio and adjust scope, resources, time and budget as and when required
- Develop, implement and assess program and project plan
- Present plans and gain sign off from the business, IT and the Steering Committee
- Define and communicate specific roles and responsibilities of Program Managers

Skills and Experience: - - Educated to Degree Level
- 10+ years' experience of IT Project Management experience
- Team Leadership experience
- Excellent finance/budgeting experience
- Leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams
- Able to influence people at all levels (internally and externally)
- An excellent understanding of multiple programming languages, systems as well as design and project management methodologies
- Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes
- Expertise in software development
- PMP or ITIL Foundation Certified
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - German language essential
