Programme Director

Programme Director. 6-12 months. Retail. Hertfordshire. £600-£800 per day.

We are currently supporting a leading retailer in their search for an interim Programme Director, who has the experience and gravitas to lead a complex set of stakeholders through a large programme of change.

The role will entail managing a portfolio of high value projects along with taking the strategic lead within the organisation as it looks to drive through its long term business plan.

What I must stress is that whilst some of the projects will have an IT component this is by no means an out and out IT focused role. The reason being is because there is a degree a sensitivity across the company following on from an internal restructure meaning that this role is more geared more towards a business minded Programme Manager. Ideally the successful applicant will also have worked heavily within a fast paced retail environment and who can deliver complex cultural and organisational change

Skills/experience

-Programme Management experience from a business perspective
-Track record of delivery within the retail sector
-Ability to manage complex stakeholders at all levels of business including board level Directors
-Exceptional communication skills with ability to win the hearts and minds of all involved in the change
-Gravitas to influence and inspire and drive through sustainable business change initiatives
-Confidence to effectively challenge board members

This is a high profile position that will provide the successful candidate with a very challenging yet rewarding contract along with the opportunity to offer a long term extensions.
