SENIOR IT PROGRAM MANAGER - GERMAN SPEAKING - SWITZERLAND BERN OR ZURICH

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the project and related responsibility for the financial result of the project as well as the management of the project team.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

-

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Economic Computer Science or Business Management
-

Knowledge and use of Project Management methodologies (eg Prince2, Hermes), certification in project management (eg IPMA Level B or similar) would be an advantage
-

Strong experience as a Full time project manager in complex IT, operational, organizational and process projects.
-

Strong experience in managing large-scale and complex projects
-

Strong experience in managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders and preparation of decisions
-

Experience with Matrix organizations
-

Open to new technologies and willingness to permanent training
-

Dynamic, proactive and good communicator
-

Experience in management of project resources, project reporting and controlling as well as risk management
-

Experience in dealing with employees of other cultures is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Consistent implementation of plans, focused working, clever overcoming of obstacles or resistances and enthusiasm of the project team with a positive and rousing nature

Management of one or more large-scale and complex projects based on a clear objective as an intermediary between the client and the specialists

Management of expectations of internal and external stakeholders and preparation of proactive decisions for the Steering Committee
-

Responsibility for the meaningful and effective project communication within the company and to anchor the project to the affected organizational units
-

Ensure that all stakeholders are involved fully and work with the greatest possible commitment to their tasks
-

Responsibility for the procurement and management of project resources, project reporting and controlling, as well as the appropriate risk management
-

Flexibility in terms of working location and project-based high workload
-

Responsibility for project results (turn over and margin)

Management of project staff including evaluation
-

Willingness to show authority in his/her field of activities

LANGUAGES

German (mother tongue or full working proficiency
