On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced German speaking Program Manager with a strong track record in managing large scale application projects across multiple countries to work on a collateral management initiative in Zurich.

This is a rolling 6 month contract in Zurich starting ASAP.

PROGRAM MANAGER, GERMAN, BANKING (6 MONTH CONTRACT, ZURICH)

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills:

- Excellent university degree (preferably in Economics/Management, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent
- 5-10 years professional experience as a project or program manager working on projects within the management consulting or financial services industry
- Multiple years of experience in a similar role managing large size projects across regions/countries in a Matrix environment with multiple dependencies
- Project experience working with and coordinating offshore/globally dispersed teams
- Very good leadership skills to drive implementation of a defined set of features through all phases (eg requirements engineering, development, testing, go life, organizational rollout).
- Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- Fluent English, as well as German language skills

The project is part of a global, bankside program of work in place to implement new Collateral regulations (BCBS/IOSCO) within an existing and new application suite in the Private Bank.

Working in a core team of project specialists servicing Americas, EMEA, Switzerland and APAC, your responsibilities will include the following:

- Integration of business process and integrated systems changes is also necessary, hence sound experiences in collaborating in a program context is a must in order to be successful
- Opportunity to execute PB Collateral projects through successful analysis, business partnerships, business case development and project management.
- Responsibility to ensure delivery on time and in budget as well as in terms of cost, schedule, resourcing, quality, client relationship in business and IT as well as CCVAL stakeholders
- Ensure architecture compliance by collaboration with CCVAL functional and domain architects
- Responsibility to successfully establish and manage project governance structure and delivery processes and driving enhancements at the project and program level (MRP)
- Accountability to establish and maintain a professional and sustainable stakeholder relationship with IT stakeholders, business partner and sponsors
- Opportunity to manage project and program dependencies (MRP) with all interfacing projects, applications and deliverables and helping define standards and best practices throughout project/program life cycle
