Program Manager - Financial Industry

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Reviewing the adequacy of the organization's existing project life cycle and change management standards
- Identify reengineering opportunities to optimise the performance of the organisation's tools and methodologies
- Determining the implementation and change management strategies to guide IT team members through the transition to the new tools and methodologies and to ensure and monitor take up and compliance.
- Ensuring process alignment with corporate strategy
- Securing Senior Executive and management support
- Managing the planning, organisation, implementation and control of all aspects of the program

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Program Manager with advanced communication and influencing skills, capable of establishing credibility with 'C' level stakeholders
- Experience in defining and establishing an optimised strategic framework to the implementation of infrastructure for a program of work
- Sufficient understanding of infrastructure delivery to be able to review, approve (and if necessary develop) detail project schedules
- Proven track record of delivering major infrastructure programs in large corporate environments supporting for large scale business critical applications systems with high-availability requirements (UNIX-based)
- Successfully delivered infrastructure projects with personal budget accountability of over $25m
